When you eat healthy, living, raw foods, you will be doing a wonderful thing for your body. Most people cook foods, which leaves them of less nutritional value to your body. When you start eating for energy by consuming raw foods, you can get the most benefit out of each bite.

What are raw foods? These are foods that have not been heated above forty degrees. The foods tend to be very rich in vitamins and nutrients because they have not been “cooked out” of them. They are usually plant foods like vegetables, fruits, grains, seeds, nuts, and even beans as long as they have not been cooked.

Instead of boiling or roasting your foods, you should try juicing, blending, grating, chopping, and dehydrating these foods to make delicious meals that are made from living foods.

Your body will digest these raw foods more easily. This is because cooking foods tends to destroy the enzymes. When you eat living, raw foods, you are doing a wonderful thing for your digestive system.

Eating for energy is a great way to get the best benefit from the food you eat. If you haven’t yet tried it, you should. You will get more energy, and create a healthier body to live in.
